TREATMENTS AVAILABLE:
- REFLEXOLOGY
- it is a complementary therapy, which works on the feet to heal the whole
person. It is a holistic therapy, which means that, during the
treatment, the therapist
considers, not only the symptoms and medical history of
the client but also their lifestyle and circumstances and so tries to alleviate
the root cause of the “disease”, or imbalance, thereby caring for the whole
person and aiding them to heal themselves. Pressure is applied to reflex
points on the feet. These reflexes are connected to distinct areas of
the body via nerve pathways and electromagnetic channels of energy called
meridians.
-
AROMATHERAPY - it is a therapeutic massage that employs
essential oils extracted from fruits, leaves, woods, resins, stems of plants
and trees in a way that can improve emotional, physical and mental health.
The essential oils are blended to create different "recipes" to assist in
healing both mind and body.
-
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE - this therapy works using firm and
rhythmic strokes on the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face.
Much of the stress we experience on a daily basis manifests itself in our
upper body and this in turn can cause bad posture, tight knotted muscles and
severe headaches. This treatment helps to release mental and physical stress
and promotes wellbeing.
-
SWEDISH MASSAGE - it refers to a variety of techniques
specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against
deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of
the blood returning to the heart. This technique can be carried out on the
whole body or just on the back depending on your requirements.
-
REIKI - The practice of Reiki is an original method of
healing developed by Mikao Usui in Japan early in the 20th century, which is
activated by intention. Reiki’s natural healing energy works on every level,
not just the physical, and promotes the body’s regenerative self healing
ability. Reiki is a non-invasive therapy whose purpose is to treat
holistically to restore balance and harmony. It is a gentle energy and may
be used safely by people of all ages.
