Since ancient times, there has been an awareness of the healing properties of crystals.  The Greeks wrote about their use in healing and the ancient Indian system of medicine Ayurveda, also uses crystals - often taken internally as elixirs.

It might seem a little extraordinary that crystals have the power to improve, and even transform, your life but this is being borne out by experience.  Crystals have the ability to help you shift emotional blockages, tune into your soul’s true path and can also help alleviate health problems, enabling you to live a happier and more vital life.

The vibration of the crystal is determined by many factors including its colour, system and mineral composition.

By meditating with a crystal, you can begin to tune into a different vibration that can help restore your mind and body to its desired state of harmony.

In working with crystals, you are also working with your own patterns of behaviour and crystals can help shift ingrained thought patterns that limit your full potential.

In this course, Corinne will explain about:

·        Choosing crystals (it is often said that the crystal chooses you!)

·        Cleansing crystals

·        Dedicating and programming crystals

·        Attuning to crystals

·        Getting to know and feel confident about handling crystals

·        Using crystals to energise and relax

·        Various crystal healing grids

·        Working with laser crystals to remove blockages and negative energy

·        Chakra layouts

Crystals will often take you on a wonderful journey, as they are keen to show you images and

colours that they think you need.

The attention and love that you give to your crystals will be returned and you will notice the

benefits of doing this in terms of increased energy and perception.

Cost: £98 Deposit £49.00 - balance to be paid on 1st day of the course

In the last twenty years, reflexology has been making a slow but sure impact in the field of alternative therapies and today proves to be a very safe and effective way of stimulating all functions, organs and other part of the body by means of pressure to small areas in the foot called “reflex points”.

Modern medicine is preoccupied with getting rid of or masking symptoms and this may be the major reason why it is so ineffective.  The holistic health philosophy considers the body as a dynamic energy system, which is in a constant state of change.  Each human being is a complex balance of mental, physical and spiritual aspects that are integrated into and affected directly by environmental and social factors.  The cause of illness is far more deep-rooted than external  symptoms.

Reflexology is a form of “holistic healing” based on the discovery that there are points on the feet and hands, which correspond to organs, systems and structures within the entire body.  In reflexology, by using special pressure technique to stimulate the points on the feet, imbalances in the tissues, organs and systems of the body can be both detected and effectively treated to restore balance and well being.  In accordance with any holistic principle, three aspects must be involved in order to achieve a feeling of well-being - the mind, the body and the spirit.

During the course, Corinne will explain how Reflexology:

·        Reduces stress (stress plays a very destructive part in breaking down the defence mechanism in the  body)

·        Gives a sense of well-being

·        Relaxes mind, body & spirit

·        Encourages elimination of toxins

·        Balances and stimulates the circulatory and lymphatic systems

·        Assists the body to balance itself

·        Promotes natural healing

·        Promotes a calmer outlook on life

·        Improves energy levels as a result of the above benefits.

 Course content

·        History of reflexology

·        Contra-indications

·        Preparing for a reflexology treatment

Massage therapy is growing in popularity and its benefits are well known.

Massage has been practiced throughout the centuries since the earliest civilisations.  It has been used medically as a therapeutic healing treatment and also for invigorating, soothing and beautifying the body.

Massage or rubbing is an instinctive act for relieving pain and discomfort, and for soothing and calming.  The use of fats and aromatic oils for lubricating the body are referred to in the Bible and the Koran.

As early as 3,000BC, the Chinese practised massage to cure ailments and improve general health.    Record show that the Hindus practiced massage as part of their hygiene routine.  The Egyptians and Persians used massage for cosmetic as well as therapeutic effects.  Cleopatra is said to have bathed in milk and then to have been massaged with aromatic oils and creams by her handmaidens.

The practice of massage spread from the East into Europe where it was well established by 500BC.

The most immediate and most noticeable effect of massage is relaxation, which is why it is so commonly associated with reducing tension.  Sometimes it has an invigorating effect; at other times it is employed to help drain away congestion in tissues or to ease contracted muscles and spasms.

The general function of the body is enhanced when it is in a relaxed state.  Massage, therefore, influences the whole body in many different ways:

·        Increases the circulation to an area like a muscle or a joint

·        Reduces pain

·        Relaxes muscles

·        Assists drainage of excess fluid

·        Introduces oil into the skin

·        Relaxes the recipient, mind, body and spirit

During this course, Corinne will introduce 3 most popular essential oils and will teach you how to incorporate them into the massage sequence.

During this fun workshop you will learn how to use essential oils in the home and for self healing.  The course will also cover the following:
